Liberal Arts and Sciences at KIT

Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) follows the idea of a humanistic educational ideal. The study program is based on the ancient tradition of the liberal arts (artes liberales). The focus is on transdisciplinary, integrated and problem-oriented academic work.

KIT-LAS degree program provides you with the skills to analyze complex social issues in a scientifically sound manner, to understand cultural and historical backgrounds, to weigh arguments, to communicate answers competently and to contribute your knowledge to politics, society and business.

LAS promotes your individual personal development and enables you to become socially engaged. Current research and practice play a central role. You can also design your personal curriculum internationally with EPICUR courses.
